This cosmetic goes by either Sana Pore Putty BB Pact or Keana Pate Shokunin 毛穴パテ職人 ( Artistian Pore Puttywebsite). It’s a line of BB Creams and Compacts (BB Pact) also Face Powders by Japanese Cosmetic Company Sana. BB Pacts are a new BB cream type. They tend to have heavier coverage than traditional tube BB creams and this is the first Japanese brand doing a BB Pact.

Sana’s Keana Pate Shokunin entire line
I find got interested in Pore Putty because it was #1 at Ranking Queen in Shinjuku which shows the ranks of all cosmetics. The name stuck with me and knowing it was popular made me curious. Read on to see what it does and why I love it and why you may love it too.

My own product. According to the website 81% of people who tried it said they’d buy it again. Pretty high

When you open it up there’s the creamy BB pact along with a mirror.
And it has a second layer on top to keep the sponge applicator off the cream. Nice, right?

I’m just going to tell you right now I think Sana Pore Putty is the best make-up product I bought in Japan this trip.
To show an example of why. Here’s my face larger than actual size and you’re a bit too close to call us just friends. So I’m zoomed in on my pores.
I’m in Jewerich #7 uppers, Jewerich #2 lowers and Brigitte Eyeshadow set (to review soon), Princess Mimi Apple Green from PinkyParadise use code “universaldoll” for a free gift.
No leveling, no use of Photoshop other than to resize. Taken with my iPhone.
Can you still see my pores? A little, but the coloration, and overall tone of my skin is so much better!
Pros of Sana Pore Putty BB Pact:
Excellent coverage! I’m very self-conscious about my acne scars and putty diminished the look of them. It didn’t remove them completely, but definitely put them in the background of my face.
Quick to apply! A few swipes and I’m done. Doesn’t streak much so swipe your face, check edges and corners and you’re done.
Skintone matching! I have no idea how it does it, but as dark as it looks in the pot it’s definitely good for a range of skintones.
Long lasting! When I use a make-up remover wipe, Clarsonic brush, and I still get residue when I use my final toner remover I know this stuff has staying power.
Creamy! Rainy season kept my skin moist in Japan, but coming back to the States it didn’t rain for a week, so my hands got dry but my face didn’t.
Cost Under $20 beats the products I was using.
Cons of Sana Pore Putty BB Pact:
Because it’s creamy it’s very shiny. The Sana Pore Putty powders are made to compliment this, but it’s not too shiny to wear alone.
Hard to remove, but that’s because it’s so long lasting. It’s the con of any long lasting foundation however.
In the end I like this product because it’s a great price and it gives me skin confidence when I don’t usually have it. I also like that when I have leave the house in 5 minutes this plus eyeliner & mascara makes me feel like a human. I was using MAC Studio Fluid FX ($27) or MAC Moisture Tint ($30) and they are not easily portable and Studio Fluid felt to heavy for summer and Moisture Tint too light. Like Goldilocks, I found Sana Pore Putty just right and completely worth the price!
